Samsung Galaxy ViS10ns
BACKGROUND
Samsung created a bold new attitude for their visual identity to attract a younger generation for the launch of Galaxy S10. They were looking for innovative ideas outside of standard digital that could drive awareness to their brand. The focus should be purely on the brand, be emotional and not technical.
SOLUTION
To promote the S10's camera features in a more emotional way, we commissioned three independent filmmakers to create innovative short films showcasing the camera's USPs. We also created our own branding 'Galaxy ViS10ns' to give the series a unique, stand-alone look and feel. We completely redesigned our original branded landing page and split the content into either visual based or general key features. Video creatives were also used in our video display advertising campaign and our Fire TV campaign.

My Role
As Pan EU Design Lead for all parts of the campaign I was responsible for developing our original concept and pitching to to all markets involved. For the original content, we created a briefing for the external film production, reviewed rough cuts and give direction on cutting down the original 2 minute films down to 15 and 30 seconds edits. I worked with a voice over artist and did creative copywriting for the landing page.
Results
Through our creative action we saw that the content reflected our targeted demographics passion points and we saw a CTR which was well over benchmark and a noticeable sales peak in the later stages of the campaign.
