Cupra Born
Trip Planer

BACKGROUND

Although electric vehicles continue to grow in popularity throughout the UK, range-anxiety, charging times and the availability of charging stations still prove to be major concerns when it comes to EV ownership overall. On top of this, consumers are having to spend more time in the discovery and research phase when trying to find the right vehicle for their lifestyle, adding an extra layer of hassle that impedes on their decision making.

SOLUTION

Combining distinctive design and slick transitions with an impressive technological feat, the CUPRA Born Model Spotlight delivered an experience that leverages the primary delivery address of a signed-in customer, and uses it as a starting point in a trip planner - laying out exactly how a journey would look from behind the wheel of the Cupra EV. Via editorial content that corresponded to our target audience and a bespoke trip-planner component, we proved to customers that long trips are not just possible, but more cost-effective, sustainable and even stylish.

My Role

Working together with the account team as creative strategist, we deep dived into first and third party information on our target audience to help form the briefing for the ideation. This role was continued during the pitching phase, where I wrote the strategy and developed our pitch to present first to PHD, their media agency, and then to Cupra. In the production phase, I was responsible for creating the original content that populated our trip planner tool and writing creative copy.
